New Stanley Healthcare Supply and Procedure Cart System Offers Healthcare Organizations Greater Mobility, Safety and Security for Enhanced Patient Care
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. --(Business Wire)--
Stanley
Healthcare, a market leading provider of safety, security and
operational efficiency solutions for the healthcare industry, today
announced the release of its new InnerSpace supply and procedure cart
system that delivers operational supply chain efficiencies and helps
enhance quality at the point of care.
The 7000 Series supply and procedure cart system provides busy
clinicians, materials managers and pharmacy technicians with valuable
customization options, a modular design and a broad set of accessory
options. In addition, the 7000 Series is engineered to support safety in
three distinct ways:
-
The ultra-hygienic crevice-free design and integrated seams make the
product easy to clean for better infection control.
-
A choice of secure key, keypad or proximity card locking systems
allows authorized individuals to quickly and easily retrieve medical
supplies from auto-locking drawers.
-
Compatible with pharmacy and exchange tray systems, 7000 Series carts
are designed to safely support the flow of medication and improve the
ovement of pharmaceutical inventory from the pharmacy to areas
throughout the hospital.
"With the 7000 Series, Stanley Healthcare didn't want to just make a
better cart - we wanted to transform the way hospital and healthcare
staff work," said Joan Watson, Director of Supply Chain Solutions at
Stanley Healthcare. "In the current healthcare environment, it's not
enough to design a cart to store supplies. The 7000 Series does more: it
allows the user to work smarter and it operates as an integral part of
the overall patient care continuum."
Built with lightweight, yet durable materials, 7000 Series carts are
easily maneuverable and conform to UL electrical and stability safety
standards. Their mobile, ergonomic design and pullout work surface make
them an ideal solution for bedside charting.
The 7000 Series small cart line comes in a wide range of preconfigured
and fully customizable options. Accessories can be purchased alone or as
part of specially designed field accessory packs for specific
applications, including the Anesthesia Pack, Crash Pack, Endo Pack,
Med/Surg Pack and more.
Stanley Healthcare will be demonstrating the 7000 Series to healthcare
information technology executives and professionals at the HIMSS13
conference in booth #8441 in New Orleans on March 3 - 7, 2013, as well
as to operating room nurses, professionals and management at the AORN
Congress in booth #4621 in San Diego the same week.
