DR Systems Announces Issuance of U.S. Patent for Systems and Methods for Matching, Naming and Displaying Medical Images

DR

and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued to the company a new patent,
relating to a method of matching medical images according to
user-defined matching rules.

Patent No. 8,094,901 describes a method of matching medical images
according to user-defined matching rules. In one embodiment, the matched
medical images are displayed according to user-defined display rules
such that the matched medical images may be visually compared in a
manner that is suitable to the viewer's viewing prferences.
