Epic Data introduces new version of manufacturing execution system

Epic Data, a producer of manufacturing execution and warehouse management solutions, has announced the introduction of new IntegraMES 7.1, a manufacturing execution system, which unites manufacturing operations from planning and scheduling through to production execution, quality management and logistics' fulfillment.
"IntegraMES 7.1 includes significant enhancements that extend real-time visibility, tracking and control of manufacturing production," said Rino Civitarese, vice president, Sales & Marketing Epic Data.
"Production managers, design engineers and quality teams access extensive production tracking and performance data for real-time decisions that improve productivity, quality and process efficiency," Civitarese continued.
According to the company, highlights of IntegraMES 7.1 include integration with complex event processing (CEP) framework that provides methods and tools to monitor real-time events or event patterns. CEP permits immediate response to changing conditions, material constraints, and critical threats to achieve increased capacity for competitive action based on organization business processes.
The Electronic Display Boards are accessible via any web client, including mobile devices and real-time updates occur dynamically, enhanced performance reporting with drill down to work cell, defective parts and shortages, and overall production and process performance, workflow extensions that support work instructions displayed in web browsers including images and videos, the company said.
