USTC iFlytek App Finally Listed on App Store
Jan 08, 2013 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) --
ViaFly, a mobile software developed by Anhui USTC iFlytek Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 002230), was launched on Apple's App Store yesterday afternoon. Previously, the application was rejected when submitted for Apple review.
USTC iFlytek launched Android-version ViaFly, an application viewed as the Chinese-version Siri that could realize the vocal interaction between user and moble phone, last March. However, the iPhone-version application failed to pass Apple's review since last June. Afterwards, Apple gave out the reason last September that the application did not pass the review because it is to similar with Siri in functions.
In order to seeking for listing on App Store, USTC iFlytek has to remove part of the functions of the iPhone-version ViaFly, such as the functions that require the call of local resources, including making calls, sending short messages and reminder setting in a vocal way.
