DSP Group integrates XciteR chipset into TECOM's MOCET Communicator
Jan 08, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) --
DSP Group, Inc., a provider of wireless chipset solutions for converged communications, has announced that its XciteR chipset will power the MOCET Communicator offered by TECOM, a designer and manufacturer of IP telephony and mobile device accessories.
The MOCET Communicator delivers audio and video experience for iPad users by integrating IP phone features together with the MOCET IP Commander app, available for download from the Apple iTunes app store.
The MOCET Communicator is the new in a line of TECOM's advanced IP phones - which include the IP3032, IP3062 and IP3062D - all based on XciteR.
The XciteR chipset also provides DECT connectivity to cordless handsets and headsets, clearing cords from the office desk.
"We are pleased to partner with the DSP Group to develop and introduce our new line of IP phones and mobile device accessories, including the MOCET Communicator. We look forward to taking full advantage of the outstanding level of technology integration and performance offered by DSP Group's VoIP solutions," said Marc Abrams, VP of Product and Business Development at MOCET.
"Products such as the MOCET Communicator could not have been designed and manufactured without the ease of integration and outstanding performance of the XciteR chipset," he concluded.
