Azure Healthcare acquires assets of Sedco Communications

Azure Healthcare Limited, a provider of healthcare communication and clinical workflow management solutions, has acquired the assets of Sedco Communications Pty., Ltd., a provider of healthcare and hospital communication platforms, nurse call systems, operating systems and services. Both the companies are based in Australia.
The transaction will be funded entirely from Azure's existing internal cash flows.
The transaction is effective from December 12, 2012.

Deal Rationale

It will also allow Azure to provide an immediate increase of synergistic nurse call revenues, with a minimal increase in operational expenditure, laying the foundation for substantial Asia Pacific growth in financial year 2013.
