XBOSoft is conducting a Mobile Testing Study
XBOSoft is conducting a study on the state of mobile testing with the objective to collect data on how different QA organizations conduct mobile testing and QA and to analyze this data so organizations can compare their own mobile QA efforts with industry standards.
"We are witnessing a shift towards mobile software. The desktop and the web are still dominant platforms for accessing the internet but mobile devices are increasingly becoming the main platform we use to interact with the internet." Said, Jan Princen, Managing Director of XBOSoft.
"This trend highlights the importance of mobile software quality. So we decided to investigate how other companies are conducting mobile testing. " Adds Alan Trefzger, Senior Quality Consultant at XBOSoft.
XBOSoft is using interviews and an online survey to gather data on the current state of mobile testing. The survey will be up till January 7 2013. Early 2013 XBOSoft will publish the report. Respondents of the survey will get a free copy of the report.
