BUYINS.NET: Market Maker Surveillance Report. T, MSFT, PCS, CBIS, GWYT, GEN, Highest Net Sell Volume and Negative Price Friction For Tuesday, November 20th 2012

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 3943 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2782 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2686 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Tuesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), MICROSOFT CORPORATION (NASDAQ:MSFT), Platinum Communications Corp (NYSE:PCS), Cannabis Science Inc (OTC:CBIS), GREENWAY TECHNOLOGY (OTC:GWYT), GenOn Energy Inc (NYSE:GEN). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below: Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction T $-0.160 -0.47% 5,702,777 28.10% 7,203,218 35.49% -1,500,441 -93,778 MSFT $-0.040 -0.14% 21,582,122 46.33% 24,446,115 52.47% -2,863,993 -715,998 PCS $-0.470 -4.27% 1,684,547 19.50% 3,780,930 43.76% -2,096,383 -44,604 CBIS $-0.012 -13.39% 4,658,878 44.75% 5,752,507 55.25% -1,093,629 -919,016 GWYT $-0.096 -50.53% 2,697,592 37.36% 4,517,300 62.57% -1,819,708 -189,553 GEN $-0.010 -0.30% 3,959,965 22.97% 5,548,404 32.18% -1,588,439 -1,588,439 Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows T down $-0.16000 with a Friction Factor of -93,778 and a Net Volume of -1,500,441. That means that it takes 93,778 more shares of selling than buying to drop T by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
