Kevin Hooper Joins NEC as Senior Vice President
IRVING, Texas --(Business Wire)--
NEC (News - Alert) Corporation of America (NEC),
a leading provider and integrator of advanced IT, networking,
communications and biometric solutions, today announced that Kevin
Hooper has joined NEC as senior vice president effective Nov. 5, 2012.
Mr. Hooper will lead NEC's Enterprise Platform Solutions business, which
includes the direct sale, delivery and support operations for NEC's IT
and network solutions to a broad base of enterprise customers and
vertical industries.

Mr. Hooper brings to NEC more than 20 years of business development and
sales leadership experience, including Hewlett Packard and IBM (News - Alert). Most
recently he served as VP of HP Networking sales. Prior to that role, he
was VP of HP Growth Accounts, Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking
and was responsible for a $3.2 billion revenue base and drove
significant growth.
Mr. Hooper has a B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from the University
of Sussex, England, and an M.S. in Engineering and Operations Research
from the University of Massachusetts.
