Microsoft News - Mississippi ITS Picks Infinite Group for Implementing Microsoft Stimulus 360

Infinite Group, Inc. announced that it has been selected by the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services or ITS to provide installation, configuration, implementation and training services for Microsoft (News - Alert) Stimulus 360.

 
Microsoft Stimulus 360 helps public sector agencies track, measure and share information regarding federal stimulus programs, company sources said.
 
Infinite Group will be working with subcontractor partner Information Strategies, Inc. for delivering an enterprise virtual-hosted environment for the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration or DFA. Stimulus 360 will help DFA comply with various requirements for receiving and dispersal of funding which it receives through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
 
“Stimulus360 is a meaningful way for state agencies to make the most of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act,” said Jim Frost, IGI’s chief technology officer. “We are thrilled to be working with the State of Mississippi on this strategic initiative, to help ensure a positive impact for stimulus funds and contribute to America’s economic recovery.”
 
The Microsoft Stimulus 360 solution enable organizations that allocate and receive ARRA funds to monitor progress, submit reports and also provide different views of data to suit different audiences for meeting ARRA goals.
 
Infinite Group sources also said that the Stimulus 360 helps allocate funds easily which will stimulate job creation and also provide the ability to track and manage incoming funds from federal agencies. Users will be able to thoroughly assess, manage and report on the progress of funded projects.
 
Key performance indicators or KPIs are supported by Stimulus 360. It also supports other government-backed performance metrics and automated workflow besides offering a comprehensive analysis across consolidated data sources, company sources said.
