Microsoft News - Microsoft Dynamics Welcomes 11 New Customers
By Melissa Warner, TMCnet Contributing Writer
Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics aims to improve business communication and efficiency through specialized applications and programs. The service is a customer service manager and resource planner to help any business develop customer loyalty while increasing sales. Microsoft announced that 11 businesses and organizations have joined forces with Microsoft to improve functionality.
The new customers range from healthcare organizations to education and government agencies. The Unites State Citizenship and Immigration, Orange (News - Alert) County Sheriff’s Department, The Louisiana State University and Los Angeles Department of Health are just four of the new customers Microsoft welcomed this week.
The Los Angeles Department of Public Health implements the applications for nurse workloads, prescription labeling, vehicle inspection, and communicable disease tracking, while the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services uses Microsoft Dynamics to successfully serve and manage the constituents in the program. Louisiana State University implemented Microsoft Dynamics into the agricultural program. The AgCenter wanted a simple way to share reports on businesses and government requirements, so they invested in the program for outreach programs. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department also uses Microsoft Dynamics to help track complaints and commendations, making it easier for sheriffs to respond to reports.
"Government, education and healthcare organizations are facing increasing constituent demand for services in the face of harsh budget realities," said Amir Capriles, senior director, Dynamics U.S. Public Sector at Microsoft in a press release. "Given these common challenges, our public-sector customers are turning to Microsoft Dynamics offerings to maximize resources and make more effective use of mission-critical data."
Microsoft Dynamics offers a variety of user-friendly tools that adapt to the business for success. Each organization or company can tailor the applications to fit their needs. Some application include financial records, human resource, grant management, recruitment and telemedicine.
Regardless what industry uses the program, Microsoft aims to make communication with constituents, customers and colleagues more efficient.
